I’ve had a long career in the Public, Manufacturing, Commercial and Community sectors in positions bearing titles such as  Inspector, Statistics Officer, Personal Manager, Administration Manager, Finance Manager, Commercial Manager, Director, Financial Controller and Operations Manager. Currently I teach Business Financial Management and Planning at Swinburne University TAFE.

I've been fortunate over my long career in management to have had access to many managers and mentors across all aspects of business management. Most of them have been good and honourable people and some not quite so. Nevertheless they all still provided valuable learning experiences.

My contracted consulting and mentoring hours are kept low to ensure that I can spend the time needed to keep my own knowledge and skills up to date and to consult with my own mentors. This ensures a valuable and effective service for my clients.

My fees, as are most, are determined by market forces, which also reflect the value and reputation of what I do. I offer the benefits of my practical experience rather than the theoretical stuff that so often comes at a much higher rate.

I prefer to work flexibly to provide each client with learning opportunities that are applicable to their own business and goals, with a view to them feeling more empowered and confident in exercising control over their own activities. I'm not into creating dependency; however lucrative that may be.

So our starting point is a discussion about your goals and aspirations for your business and to whom you hope to market your services. We can then determine between us what form our relationship will take from there. Each person's experience and needs are very individual and I truly believe that you are the expert in your own life. I'm just someone you can chat to; bounce ideas off, or who can provide you with information that will help you make the best decisions for yourself.
